If you are importing any goods containing meat, fish or fishery products you must have a completed Common Health Entry Document (CHED-P). The Port Health or Border Inspection Post (BIP) requires a completed CHED-P for each part of a consignment. It is important to note that where Health Certificates fail to comply with the strict EU Decisions and Directive requirements, the consignment will be refused entry into the EU.
The International Freight Agency have a lot of expertise in this area, having worked in it for many years. We are registered and approved by the Department of Agriculture to complete and return the Common Health Entry Document when required.
We complete intrastat returns on a monthly basis for our clients. Any importer of goods whose value exceed €195,000 over a year must complete intrastat returns and submit to revenue ( VIMA Office) on a monthly basis.
